DESCRIPTION:Conversations about Death & Dying can be difficult and yet incredibly freeing. We do not have many opportunities to talk about Death & Dying and yet we are all curious. In this series of classes Death Doula and End of Life Educator Tisa McGraw will facilitate those difficult conversations. She will provide information about what happens when we die\, working with our fears\, insights from wisdom traditions\, working with loss\, grief care. Join for the whole series of classes or drop in for any topic that interests you. \nWeek 1: Let’s Talk about Death February 5 \nWhat happens when we die? What are your thoughts\, feelings\, ideas about it? Having open conversations de-mystifies Death\, allowing us to express our ideas and confront our fears. \nWeek 2: Life Review February 12 \nThe Life Review process helps us clear old energies\, create new perspectives\, allow time for processing. We will explore techniques that help us let go of past conflicts\, resolve old issues and transform negative experiences into positive energies. \nWeek 3: Now What? Dealing with Grief February 19 \nWe will discuss grief work\, processing\, practices and resources to support us in this difficult journey. Working with our grief about dying gives us insight into what will happen for those we leave behind.
