DESCRIPTION:S.P.A.R.K. (Sparking Power and Resiliency in Kids)  serves children ages 4-18 who have experienced trauma and their parents/caregivers. Children and caregivers participate in separate groups meetings with their peers for 8-10 sessions. \nChildren learn: \nTo understand how trauma has affected them\nTo develop strategies to increase resiliency\, and\nTo empower one another to create healthy and safe futures. \nParents/caregivers receive tools:\nTo learn trauma-responsive caregiving strategies\nTo learn how to support your child and create calm interactions\, and\nTo connect and receive support with other parents with similar experiences. \nIntake required prior to enrollment.
