DESCRIPTION:This training is 9:30am-4:30pm Eastern Time\n\nParticipants will learn:\n\n\nThe philosophy of Nurturing Parenting.\nThe five parenting constructs of abuse/neglect.\nThe impact of maltreatment on brain development.\nHow to assess high-risk parenting beliefs.\nTo tailor-make programs based on family’s needs.\nTo gather process evaluation data.\nTo evaluate pre-post program impact.\nTo implement home\, group program models.\n\nCarol Lapin\, MSSW\, has been teaching\, training\, and sharing the philosophy and skills of the Nurturing Parenting Programs® for adults\, children\, and adolescents since 1996. In 1998 she received the recognition of Dr. Stephen Bavolek\, principal author of the programs\, as a National Trainer and Consultant in the Nurturing Parenting Programs®. \nPayment Information: \n\nFor mail-in payments\, we ask all participants to download the Nurturing Parenting Facilitator Training form and mail the completed form with payment to:\n\nFamily Nurturing Center\nAttn:  Carol Lapin\n5 Spiral Drive\, Suite 100\nFlorence\, KY  41042 \n\nNo refunds within one week before the training date.  There will be a $25 cancellation fee per registrant. \nThis event is 9:30am-4:30pm Eastern Time

DESCRIPTION:Family Nurturing Center is hosting a Teen Safety Matters (Monique Burr) for teens and Stewards of Children for parents sponsored by Thrive Empowerment at the Zembrodt Education Center. \nTeen Safety Matters: Help keep your teen safe and prepared.  Teens will feel empowered with information and strategies to prevent\, recognize\, and respond appropriately to bullying\, cyberbullying\, relationship abuse\, digital dangers\, exploitation\, and human trafficking. (Ages 11-17). \nThe Stewards of Children® training was created to teach adults how to prevent\, recognize\, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.  The NEW Stewards of Children® is the same proven framework\, with significant updates that have been made to introduce new survivors and experts\, the latest statistics and technology and enhanced learning methods and tools. \n
