DESCRIPTION:This training is 9am-4pm Central Time\n\nParticipants will learn:\n\n\nThe philosophy of Nurturing Parenting.\nThe five parenting constructs of abuse/neglect.\nThe impact of maltreatment on brain development.\nHow to assess high-risk parenting beliefs.\nTo tailor-make programs based on family’s needs.\nTo gather process evaluation data.\nTo evaluate pre-post program impact.\nTo implement home\, group program models.\n\nCarol Lapin\, MSSW\, has been teaching\, training\, and sharing the philosophy and skills of the Nurturing Parenting Programs® for adults\, children\, and adolescents since 1996. In 1998 she received the recognition of Dr. Stephen Bavolek\, principal author of the programs\, as a National Trainer and Consultant in the Nurturing Parenting Programs®. \nPayment Information: \n\nFor mail-in payments\, we ask all participants to download the Nurturing Parenting Facilitator Training form and mail the completed form with payment to:\n\nFamily Nurturing Center\nAttn:  Carol Lapin\n5 Spiral Drive\, Suite 100\nFlorence\, KY  41042 \n\nNo refunds within one week before the training date.  There will be a $25 cancellation fee per registrant. \nThis event is 9am-4pm Central Time

With offices in Florence\, Kentucky and Cincinnati\, Ohio\, Family Nurturing Center’s vital programs provide healing and support to more than 10\,000 children and families annually. \nRaffle Drawing will be held on Thursday\, October 27th at 7:00 p.m. during our LIVE streaming Bats ‘N’ Bourbon program at https://givebutter.com/BatsNBourbon. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou need not be present to win. Prize must be picked up from Family Nurturing Center’s Florence office located at 5 Spiral Drive\, Suite 100\, Florence\, KY 41042 by November 1st or prize will be forfeited. \nAn email receipt of your ticket purchase will be sent to you.
