DESCRIPTION:Join Once Upon an Orchestra at the Family Nurturing Center on Tuesday\, July 11\, 2023\, at 3:00 for a free performance from the Louisville Orchestra! In partnership with the Louisville Free Public Library\, Metro Louisville and the Library Foundation\, the Louisville Orchestra presents Once Upon an Orchestra\, a free concert series for multigenerational families featuring fun\, interactive storytelling-through-music performances. The text from favorite children’s books and original stories are set to music performed by small LO ensembles – engaging children with the goals of increasing readiness for school and laying a foundation for a greater interest in music and creativity. They will be performing “Music of the Sea” composed by LO Creators Corps member TJ Cole. \nREGISTER HERE \n
