Child abuse affects us all, regardless if we even know of the five children who will be reported abused in just the minute it takes you to read this letter.  Did you know that one if four girls and one in six boys will be sexually assaulted before they reach the age of 18?  Fortunately, we are not without hope: child abuse is preventable with education and community awareness.

Internet Safety Toolkit

95% of all teens are on the Internet; and 80% of those teens use social media.

Here is a great resource for parents, teachers and other adults. An Internet Safety Tool Kit, provided by our friends at Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, that offers great resources for talking with kids about internet safety.
